Financial and Regulatory Reporting Manager

Job Introduction

The role is within the Group external reporting team. The team is responsible for all aspects of external reporting for the Group, such as the production of consolidated financial statements and regulatory reporting, and also for Group consolidation journals, compensation accounting, liquidity and capital planning and preparation of the Group’s ICARA document.


Role Responsibility

We are looking for someone who can produce high quality information for external stakeholders. To do this we are looking for a qualified accountant who has management experience, good technical skills, excellent attention to detail and will be able to get up to speed quickly with the business and the requirements of the role.


Duties will include, but are not limited to:


  • Management of three team members
  • Preparation and review of the financial statements within the Annual Report & Accounts of Jupiter Fund Management plc.
  • Review of the statutory accounts for the holding companies within the group.
  • Preparing and reviewing regulatory returns.
  • Preparation and review of the Interim Accounts.
  • Management of month-end processes, including seed capital, share-based payments, cash etc.
  • Management and forecasting of consolidated and entity liquidity and capital positions.
  • Preparation and review of variable compensation calculations and forecasts.
  • Preparation of management information, as required.
  • Keeping up-to-date with accounting standards and communicating their impact.
  • Assistance with the production of the ICARA document.
  • Ad-hoc work, as necessary.
  • Liaison with external auditors.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Audit/financial reporting background with 8-10 years+ PQE
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience of using Workday desirable but not essential.
  • Ability to challenge and influence.
  • A motivated team player.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience gained within a listed UK asset management group an advantage.
