Investment20/20 Finance Trainee

Job Introduction

The External Reporting team are looking for someone who can help produce high quality information for external stakeholders. To do this we require a numerate candidate who has good spreadsheet and written skills, excellent attention to detail and will be able to get up to speed quickly with the requirements of the role.

The external reporting team, comprising five people, is responsible for all aspects of external reporting for the Group, such as the production of financial statements and reporting on capital and liquidity in our entities to the regulatory authorities. We are also responsible for accounting for compensation and administering the Group’s investments in its own funds.

Role Responsibility

Role responsibilities include (but not limited to) assisting with the following:

  • The preparation of financial statements, including the Group’s Annual Report and Accounts.
  • Preparation of regulatory returns for various regulated entities.
  • Liaison with external auditors.
  • Capital and cash forecasting.
  • Assistance with month end processes, including bank reconciliations.
  • Ad hoc work, as necessary, to assist the team

Package Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Jupiter's Finance department in the External Reporting team as part of the Investment20/20 programme. Investment20/20 is an industry wide initiative designed to create more entry level opportunities into the industry and to provide you with the skills and experiences to help you start your career.

There is an opportunity for this role to be an 18 month Apprentice where you will spend 20% of your time studying towards your Level 3 Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship.

This role will start on 3rd October 2022.
