Marketing Assistant Manager

Job Introduction

The marketing department works collaboratively and is integrally linked with our distribution partners, investment management and other supporting functions with the purpose of building and strengthening: the Jupiter brand, our service and product awareness and helping the firm to deliver against its distribution objectives.

The role will be based in either Singapore or Hong Kong. The role will focus on the provision of pro-active marketing communications to support sales teams in Asia and conducting in-depth research into different digital marketing platforms/opportunities for Jupiter's Asia business.

Role Responsibility

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Ability to stay on top of latest digital marketing trend, present constructive recommendations/ideas as to how Jupiter in Asia can effectively reach different target audience through various digital marketing platforms/opportunities.
  • Work with marketing team, both regionally and in head office in London, to aid the development and implementation of the marketing strategy, especially on digital.
  • Responsible for digital data analysis and reporting for Asia.
  • Assist in executing campaigns through multiple communication channels.  These may include advertising, brochure-ware, digital marketing, and events.
  • Assist in localisation of a range of marketing communications and collateral, ensure they are on brand, assist in budgeting and delivery within timelines. Work with the team in Asia to ensure the accurate translation of materials and accurate version control.
  • Ensure that all marketing materials and communications comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of all marketing communications using a consultative approach.
  • Work with Line Manager, the team in Asia and the wider Group Marketing Services department in London, to aid the co-ordination of all required activities, internal communications and keeping stakeholders up to date.
  • Support line manager with external supplier management, monitor them against agreed SLA and escalate any issues.
  • Brief stakeholders and relevant Teams on marketing communications and campaigns, keep them up to date and obtain sign off where relevant.
  • Be available to work on projects as directed

The Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent Chinese and English written and verbal communication (essential).
  • Experience in the financial services/asset management sector and a working knowledge of Asian markets in a marketing context, in particular Hong Kong and Singapore (essential). 
  • Working knowledge of (B2B) marketing communications across the full marketing mix (offline and online and digital) is desirable, preferably strong on digital.
  • Ability to take ownership and responsibility.
  • Maintain workflow systems and self-prioritise work.

Skills Required:

  • Fast learner with flexibility to take on various Marketing tasks.
  • Must be solutions oriented, personally motivated and able to multi-task while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Able to work with a minimum of supervision, assess and prioritise workload in a strict deadline oriented environment.

  • Ability to work within a team as well as independently.
  • Demonstrated capability for self-learning and self-motivation with the ability to solicit support when required.
  • PC skills: Intermediate level in MS WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, Adobe Acrobat

Qualifications Required:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent industry experience.
