Sales Director - Nordics

Job Introduction

Jupiter provides investment services to individual and institutional investors through mutual funds (UK unit trusts, Luxembourg SICAVs and Dublin OEICs), separately managed accounts and sub-advised funds. Jupiter has experienced a period of international growth with offices open in EMEA, APAC and the US.

 

The role sits in the Nordic Branch of Jupiter AM and works in strict relationship with the EMEA sales team. The role purpose is to sell and protect assets in Jupiter’s range of investment products across Nordics to Institutional Clients and professional fund buyers in accordance with agreed targets, KPI’s and parameters. The role is based in Stockholm.

Role Responsibility

· Work closely with the Nordic team to support business strategy to growth the business and Jupiter’s footprint in the Nordics

· To maintain strong working relationships with Head of Nordics and international sales colleagues and respective internal departments, sharing necessary information to achieve a co-ordinated sales effort

· Service existing clients and prospects in the Nordics like asset managers, banks, family offices and institutional clients

· To develop and maintain appropriate and lasting relationships with key clients, in the interest of building profitable customer relations

· To maintain and strengthen existing relationships with clients in the Nordics with an emphasis on growing the assets under management and attaining ambitious long-term sales objectives

· To identify and pursue new business opportunities such as new products, channels, and marketing opportunities in order to enhance the strength of distribution efforts

· To provide key accounts with information and updates on Jupiter products and services

· Report sales activity, notes and client meetings promptly via Sales Force

· To contribute to business strategy, team initiatives and product development

· To co-ordinate client meetings and presentations with Fund Managers

· You will ensure to comply with local regulations and adhere to local regulatory requirements, including record keeping

· At all time you will conduct any activity in consistence with the principles of treating customers fairly and the relevant rules, regulations and internal procedures. You will also be expected to partner with the relevant internal stakeholders to contribute to the elaboration of best practices and the on-going improvement of internal procedures relevant to client coverage

The Ideal Candidate

· Educated to degree level or equivalent

· Swedish mother tongue and fluency in English language required. Finnish would be a good add on

· Minimum 7 years' proven experience of working in a relevant client service environment within the asset management/ financial services industry

· Good knowledge of investment products, especially UCITS fund structures and their client servicing aspects (rebate payments, distribution agreement templates, fund static data information)

· Excellent communications skills with a client service approach

· Ability to build and maintain successful long-term relationships with clients

· Ability to work under pressure

· A flexible and proactive approach to work

· Ability to use own initiative and self-motivated

· Act as an ambassador for Jupiter in the region

· Intermediate MS Office experience: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Sales Force

The majority of our employees are based in our London office located just minutes from Victoria station which provides stair-free access from both the Underground’s Victoria line and National Rail platforms, as well as limited road crossings to the Jupiter office. We offer our UK employees a 2-1-2 hybrid working arrangement where Tuesdays, Thursdays and a third day of your choice are worked from the office. The other two days may be worked from home.  This facilitates collaboration and allows employees to maximise productivity whilst maintaining a healthy work/life balance.
